Chulalongkorn: INDA Parade in VR
In May 2020, Chulalongkorn University's International Program in Design and Architecture moved its annual INDA Parade showcase into virtual reality. COVID-19 had shut down in-person teaching and exhibitions, so the event went online.
INDA ran the exhibition in Sansar, mixing shared virtual spaces with Zoom presentations. VRG brought the hardware and the hands-on support to make it happen. Students set their projects out on virtual exhibition islands, so visitors could wander through a room of work together.

Inside the virtual exhibition.
The setup let students see their own designs at 1:1 scale. In the event film, a few of them describe walking inside their models and getting a far better read on how a space would really feel. Instructors talk about how the students used the platforms to present and pick apart one another's ideas.

That spring pulled the school around its students' work in a new way. VRG's part was the equipment and the hands-on help that made it possible.
